Okay, I have been having a lot of skin problems for a long time now. I’ve gone to two different doctors for it numerous times, and basically, it’s just shrugged off. My doctor from home asked me questions and said it sounded like I have excema, although she did no tests. She gave me a prescription for a steroid cream (elidel), but it only helps for a few minutes. The other doctor really just kept telling me to come back if it gets worse, and she’d tell me a couple tips but they didn’t really help. I went back to her a bunch of times, but I feel like it’s getting worse. Okay, to explain the rash…
I’ve had it everywhere on my body now. It’s always on my legs and a little on my arms, but my legs are definitely the worst. I can’t wear shorts because I have really red dry spots and scabs all over from scratching until I bleed. I know it sounds gross, but what I am supposed to do if the doctors won’t help? Anyway, I’ve had it on my face (where it itches, but also feels like its on fire)..
My stomach, back, and chest have also had a lot of problems. A few years ago I had an allergic reaction to a deodorant I used, but since then, these are the first skin problems I’ve had. I can’t handle it anymore. I use lotions and creams to help and I take benadryl sometimes, but I don’t know what else to do. The itching is driving me crazy and I lose SO much sleep over it. Will somebody please, please, please help me?!

    1) Don’t scratch
    2) How are your eating/drinking habits? Do you booze or take illegal drugs? Those can amplify the effects.

    Also, maybe adjust your diet if it’s heavy in meats or unhealthy foods. Work out.

    My friend was a drug user, and he had a similar experience to you, it looked terrible. It only started to subside when he started taking care of himself.

    Also, you should consider seeing a skin specialist. If it’s that bad, no one should be ignoring you.
