Anyone know of an eczema cream that works and doesn’t bleach the skin?
andie c asked:
My 2 1/2 year old has terrible eczema where her shoes rub, and on the front and backs of her knees. Sometimes even at the top of her thighs in the back. I have been given triamcinolone, which I don’t use anymore because it made huge white splotches all over her legs that won’t go away. I have also used over the counter hydrocortizone (sp?) and Elidel. I have tried thick creams (i.e. Eucerin) and Vaseline. Just wondering if anyone has found something that actually works and won’t bleach her skin. OR, are the white patches maybe scar tissue? Is it the eczema itself that is causing the discoloration?

My son had eczema on his tush on and off for a year…. After many visits to the pediatrician and after trying many prescriptions nothing was working…. I researched it on-line and decided to try Cetiphil soap and lotion. After about two weeks of using this combination, the rash is gone! I definitely recommend Cetiphil products.
