Try Murad products to wash yourself, trust me on this one, I promise you’ll see a difference.
try Cetaphil products; the soap is good as is the lotion.
Hi! My name is Elisabeth and I think I’ve got a product that can actually work. It is not a drug, pill, creme, remedy, but a food. It is called Reliv, and is a nutritional supplement. I know many people who have gotten results with eczema, and are symptom free. If you want more info, contact me at. I’ll be glad to talk to you, and i hope ill be able to help!
I have also dealt with having eczema all my life and its a combination of things that work for me.
1. I try to avoid food with lots of citric acid (oranges, pineapples, Kiwis, Lemons)
2. I try and limit my soda and caffeine intake
3. I use hydracortizone cream on my face only (almost daily) - It doesn’t work any where else
4. when needed I use a prescription ointment called Triamincinalone. It has been the only thing that has helped.
5. bathe and shower in products that are not drying such as Dove - unscented or Avenno Oatmeal soap.
The cause of eczema is unknown, as you probably know. I had it too, on my legs, arms, earlobes at times. I only have an occaisional spot on my ankles anymore. I’ve had all the pharmaceutical products as well, nothing worked. Here’s what pretty much cured me. 2 hours of sunlight per day, use olive oil on your skin, nothing else. Drink alot of water, and try to eat organically as much as possible. Good luck, and let me know if this helps. If you have really bad inflamed areas a paste of goldenseal root powder works wonders. It is an anti-inflammatory with antibiotic properties as well.
Do try anti-eczeam cream and spray combo from Those are natural (herbal) remedies and won’t do any harm. They work for even severe cases, and with money back guarantee there is nothing to lose (except that your clothing and pillow case may get greasy from the ointment). Good luck.
1) Keep using those creams. Elidel is not a steroid, so it might not be strong enough. Ask your dermatologist about Clobetasol (which is what I use) or a steroid cream. Put them on at night - I usually see a lot of improvement overnight.
2) Change some of your current habits. Use moisturizers A LOT. Use them as soon as you get out of the shower to lock moisture into your skin and to protect it. Try changing the soaps and moisturizers you use. Choose products that say fragrance-free, hypo-allergenic, and non-comedogenic. These terms mean that most irritants are not in the product. Try Eucerin (try the cream instead of the lotion - I put it on my face, let it sit for awhile, and then pat my face dry, and then use a lotion), Cetaphil, Neutrogena, or Oil of Olay. Just make sure they’re appropriate for sensitive skin.
I am 20 also and I’ve had eczema off and on since 5th grade. You CAN get better! You don’t have to live like this anymore. It’s going to take patience, time, and willpower. You have to concentrate on other things so you don’t scratch. Trust me, I know this is much easier said than done, but scratching only makes your skin worse. This won’t get better overnight, so don’t get frustrated if you’re not better immediately. In a few weeks, you should notice considerable improvement. Good luck!
